Czech Red Cross

  • Czech Red Cross disaster preparedness and response activities are provided on the basis of the “Red Cross Law” no. 126/1992 Collection of Laws and on the agreement between Czech Red Cross Headquarters and the Main Fire Rescue department. It means that Czech Red Cross is a component of the czech rescue system (“Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic”); the main components of this system are represented by Fire Service, Medical Rescue Service and Police.
  • according to the Red Cross Law the Czech Red Cross is a auxiliary to the public authorities in the social, health, humanitarian and IHL activities as well as a auxiliary to the medical service of the Czech Army

The official website of Czech Red Cross Youth. The Czech Red Cross Youth is a special movement whose members work independently within the framework of the Czech Red Cross. It unites children and young people aged 6 - 26. The Czech Red Cross Youth has its own structure, elected bodies and activity. They focus on the social, health and humanitarian issues. The Czech Red Cross Youth implement the fundamental principles of the Red Cross/Crescent Movement through their own projects.
