Czech Red Cross

Czech Red Cross disaster preparedness and response activities are provided on the basis of the “Red Cross Law” no. 126/1992 Collection of Laws and on the agreement between Czech Red Cross Headquarters and the Main Fire Rescue department. It means that Czech Red Cross is a component of the czech rescue system (“Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic”); the main components of this system are represented by Fire Service, Medical Rescue Service and Police.
